The home around the young person

A bespoke solo model with a minimum of 2:1 staffing.

One child or young person lives in each home with a focused staff team providing intensive care around their individual needs. The environment, routines, boundaries, activities and support plan are shaped thoughtfully around them.

Safety and structure

Clear plans, predictable routines and consistent boundaries help children and young people understand what to expect and why decisions are made.

Voice and choice

We listen to wishes and feelings, invite feedback and use each young person's perspective to improve their home and care.

Education first

Whenever possible, children and young people attend an appropriate local school or education setting, with additional tutoring or specialist support where needed.

Community and experiences

Children and young people are encouraged to join clubs, explore hobbies, take part in their community and try experiences they may not have had before.

Careful recruitment

Staff undergo robust safer-recruitment checks, careful vetting and ongoing development for the responsibility they hold.

Plans that evolve

Care plans, behaviour plans and risk assessments are reviewed so they continue to reflect progress, risk and changing needs.

The experience of care

The little things are not little.

A warm bedroom on the first night. A lamp beside the bed. Clothes and a haircut that feel right. A favourite meal. An adult who explains a difficult boundary honestly and remains there afterwards. These details tell a child or young person whether they matter.

Our locations

Our homes are in Nottingham. Our reach is nationwide.

We welcome referrals from local authorities throughout the UK. Where required, we can support contact arrangements and arrange collection or transport for a child or young person from any UK location. Exact home details are shared privately through the referral and matching process.

Find the right home

Every referral starts with understanding the child or young person, not filling a vacancy.
