Support Worker - Semi-Independent Supported Living

We are a Supported Living provider that deliver accommodation with support to young people with challenging behaviours and complex needs, aged 16 to 18.

The role of a Support Worker is very diverse where no two days are the same. You will be working closely with our young people, building positive and professional relationships, whilst encouraging them into independence and adulthood with safeguarding being your top priority.
​
We are recruiting hardworking, committed and resilient individuals as full time or part time Support Workers, sleep ins are required as part of the role and are in addition to the contracted hours. The role would involve working at properties across the Nottinghamshire area as required.

Job Types & Salary

Full-Time Position – 40 hour contract that includes: 15hr daily shift (9am - 11pm) plus sleep in’s.
​
Pay starts at £10.00 per hour (£20,800 Salary per annum), increasing to £10.50 (£21,840 Salary per annum) after a 6 month probation period. Sleeps in are £60 per sleep.
​
Shifts could be up to 15 hours per day (8am-10pm), with a sleep in from 10pm-8am. You would be required to work a rolling rota, typically working 10 days out of a 21 day period.

Part-Time Position - 30 hrs contract that includes: 15hr daily shift (9am - 10pm) plus sleep in's. - Salary and Shift will be calculated on a Pro Rata Basis.
​
Please note that it’s a criminal offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with that particular group (i.e. adults at risk, children or both).
​
Due to the nature of the role, Bright Futures Accommodation can only consider applicants aged 22 years and above, this is an occupational requirement and therefore is exempt from schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
​

Salary: £20,800.00 - £26,000.00 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Sleep allowances: Up to an additional £7,800.00 (£60 per sleep in addition to salary)
Overtime opportunities available.
